Hello my loves,
The holidays (and this month) have been especially crazy, and I feel like I've been super scatterbrained. My goal with Galbraith is to put out content every week, but also to put out quality content—stories that I'm proud of. That means there are some weeks a post just doesn't come together in time. More than anything I hate not posting, but I'd rather miss a week than post any old thing. (I write sort-of in-between posts like this one to let you know I'm always thinking of you!)
This is such an exciting time: the start of a new year! Whether you're creating resolutions or not, whether you've hardly had time to make plans for where you'll be at midnight, whether you're thrilled to see 2015 go, or you're holding on to every bit of it, I hope you have the most wonderful New Year's. And I hope you have some time to reflect and look back on 2015, all the highs and the lows. Every one of those experiences have come together to build you into who you are today, and where you are today. (It's cheesy, but I just imagined each experience, each moment of 2015 like it's a tiny glowing ball, and as the year stretched on, they converged and mixed together to come one bright light: you, just as you are in this moment.) The journey you're on is so uniquely yours, and that's a pretty amazing (and often scary!) thing. I hope you can find bits of gratitude and peace as 2016 opens its doors.
Look for a post next week with tips on creating not resolutions, but practices (hint: practices are more intuitive and can be much easier to uphold). Also to come in 2016: more Interviews with amazing people who are challenging the status quo and going after what they want. Can't wait to share it all with you.
Xoxo, Heather
